Preferred Beach List
Vanderbilt Beach
Vanderbilt Beach, situated at the end of Vanderbilt Beach Road, is one of the most popular choices. It's a lively beach known for its sugary white sand and stunning views. During peak season months (January through April) we suggest early start times to secure a prime spot as Vanderbilt tends to get very busy:
Parking: A multilevel parking garage is available for a daily fee. Arriving early is recommended as spaces fill quickly.
Facilities: There are restrooms plus showers for a quick rinse before heading home.
Food and Drinks: The Ritz-Carlton’s popular Gumbo Limbo Bar is conveniently located nearby, as well as The Turtle Club restaurant with walk up bar (reopening April 2024).
Crowd Factor: It can be bustling, especially during weekends or peak season, so it's perfect if you love vibrant settings.
Naples Pier Beach / Naples Municipal Beach
One of the most iconic Naples spots, Naples Pier Beach Access offers a true, lively beach experience:
Parking: Parking is located nearby, but given its popularity, it can get busy.
Facilities: Restroom facilities are available and adjacent to a playground—great for families.
Food and Drinks: You can find food and drink amongst the many nearby restaurants in the 3rd Street restaurant district.
Crowd Factor: As a prime beach spot and fishing location, expect a bustling, energetic environment.
Horizon Way Beach Access
Nestled at the base of a narrow lane, Horizon Way Beach Access offers tranquility amidst natural beauty:
Parking: Street parking is available though limited (40 spaces).
Facilities: There are no restrooms here, so plan accordingly! However there is an outdoor shower to rinse.
Food and Drinks: Plan to pack your picnic, as there are no food concessions nearby. You are a short walk (10-15 mins) from Venetian Village with a few popular restaurants, ice cream, and restroom facilities.
Crowd Factor: If you’re looking for a quiet, off-the-beaten-path beach experience, this gem is for you.
Via Miromar Beach Access
For a charming local experience, Via Miramar Beach Access is a hidden treasure:
Parking: Limited street parking available, making it a very exclusive spot (~40 spaces).
Facilities: No restroom facilities available here.
Food and Drinks: Pack your own, as there's a lack of nearby concession stands.
Crowd Factor: The beach is typically quiet, perfect for a romantic getaway or those looking for solitude.
